February 1, 2022

We are pleased to announce that Goddard 626 will be going pet friendly February 1st! We have had many inquiries from tenants and prospects and we believe this is an amenity we can accommodate in our community.

All animals must be fully approved by Ashley Property Services before entering the premises for any length of time. (No pet sitting for any length of time). Local ordinances require all dogs to be registered with the city, have rabies vaccinations and they have also suggested dog owners to learn the facts here now. Cats must have up to date rabies vaccinations. To approve your pet, we require a picture of your pet, registration/rabies verification, pet deposit and a monthly pet fee. Pet deposits will be refundable $200.00 per pet and the pet fee will be $50.00 for the first pet. Maximum of two pets per household if approved (additional pet fee/deposit may apply). Pets above 50lbs full grown will not be approved.

A dog park area has been built on the property to ensure pets have adequate space. Additionally, we will require pet owners to clean up after their pets, abide by local leash laws and not allow pets outside unattended. Feces must be picked up immediately to prevent damage to the grass and nuisance to neighbors. Local laws state animals cannot be ‘at large’: We highly recommend pet owners use leashes at all times to prevent disrupting their neighbors & for safety for all parties. Outside tie-outs, crates, and pens are not to be used. Unattended barking dogs will be considered a direct lease violation of ‘disrupting others’ quiet enjoyment’.

Additional Notes:

-If unapproved animals are found on the property they will need to be removed within 24 hours and cannot return until fully approved. Unapproved animals could result in eviction of tenants.

-Aggressive animals will not be tolerated.

-Animals will need to be contained during inspections and while maintenance issues are corrected. Workmen and employees are not responsible for animals getting out, nor are they expected to work around unsupervised animals. Trip charges resulting from inability to inspect or maintain the property due to animals not being put up may be billed to the tenant.

-Any items detailed in this notice can be enforced via lease violation.

It is our goal to accommodate all of our tenants current and future to the best of our ability. We welcome your input as we implement these changes. Please reach out with any questions, concerns or interest. The above plan is preliminary and subject to change.
